The Ice Bear Beach Hotel  is an old colonial bungalow set in an enchanted tropical garden overlooking the Indian ocean  where you can simple rest on the verandah  and sip Ceylon tea or relax your mind and body in their in house Ayurveda Spa.

Day 3 : After two nights spent in this hotel you will drive  through a beautiful landscape of teak and banana plantations and little villages to your hotel in Kandy, stopping off along the way at the Pinawella Elephant Orphanage where you can feed and bath the baby elephants, or simply sit and marvel at the many elephants relaxing in an idyllic, natural environment.
In the afternoon you will proceed to Kandy and check in to the Serendip Stone Bungalow which is another colonial style bungalow just outside of Kandy city centre bordering the Mahewela River and offers excellent view over the surrounding hills.

Day 4 : After breakfast you will embark on a city tour of Kandy, visiting the bazaars, gem museum , botanical garden in Peradeniya and the most important temple in Buddhist culture, The Temple of The Tooth. .Absolutely unforgettable experience is to watch the cultural dancing show, which takes part in the evening.
Dinner and overnight in Serendip Stone Bungalow.

Day 5 : After breakfast we will proceed to Nuwara Eliya. Nuwara Eliya - The 'Little England' of Sri Lanka, is set against beautiful backdrops of Mountains, Valleys, Waterfalls and Tea Plantations. It is supposed to be one of the coldest places on the island, but it is really just like an English spring day, although the temperature does drop at night. Overnight at The Rock Hotel in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 6 : Before you proceed to probably the most romantic village in the hill country Ella, on the way you must visit the DIVURUMPOLA TEMPLE where lovers exchange their vows since the ancient times of the Ramayana. Divurumpola means literally translated "the place of making a vow". Today the temple is revered for the oath taken by Sitadevi and even the legal system permits and accepts the swearing done at this temple while settling disputes between parties. Another place worth visiting is the Hakgala Botanical Gardens with its very interesting story.
The Halgala Botanical Gardens was one of the pleasure gardens of King Rawana. This garden was expanded during the British period and has a wide variety of flowers including an excellent collection of orchids. This is the exotic pleasure garden where King Ravana kept the depressed Sita, insisting that she marries him. It was here where the heartwarming meeting took place between her and Hanuman, who brought her Rama’s ring with the news that Rama was looking for her. He offered to carry her back but she refused saying it would be an insult to Rama’s honor if she did so. Part of this majestic garden still exists. It is also said that Hanuman nearly destroyed it in order to prove to Ravana of the forces against him. After picnic in these gardens you will be whisk to Ella, the highest tea village in Sri Lanka.
Overnight at Grand Ella Hotel.

Day 7 : From Ella you can continue with one of our beach package and proceed to the south coast for beach break or have adventurous train ride (optional) through lush green tea plantation as far as the eye can see,  numerous beautiful waterfalls, long dark tunnels and over the amazing arch bridges back to Colombo. End of tour.
