Day 1 - 4 : Your driver will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to the Buckingham Place Boutique Hotel on the South-East Coast of Sri Lanka.  Part of the idyllic and laid back fishing village of Rekawa, Buckingham Place is the ideal place to start your honeymoon in Sri Lanka.
Expect something different. Something positive and unique. Contemporary in design but not sterile or soulless, stylish , sociable and interactive but in the old fashioned sense of the word.
Overlooking Rekawa's  tranquil lagoon, this boutique villa just moments from a long stretch of deserted Indian Ocean beach. By day – explore the environs by canoe and bicycle, take a stroll or even an early morning jog along the beach; why not just laze with a good book and a picnic by the Turtle Point rock-pool? At the end of a day in paradise return to your sanctuary – to enjoy sundowners, great local cuisine or something unusual - from an ever changing eclectic menu.
Rekawa-Tangalle is also short driving distance from the Yala National Park, Uda Walawe National Park and Bundala National Park. Wildlife Safari start there early morning or late afternoon.
Approximately 1hr 40mins away from Buckingham Place is the small coastal area of Mirissa where whale sightings can be frequent just 5-6km off the beautiful Mirissa coastline. Even closer, at Dondra Head, armed only with a pair of binoculars you may well be lucky enough to spot one without setting one foot on a boat!
Another site not to be missed are the Mulkirigala Buddhist Temples. The steep climb up hundreds of steps is not everybody  idea of a relaxing day out nonetheless; your effort will be well rewarded, as you take in the large reclining Buddha and smaller statues taking shelter in a series of caves

Day 4 - 8 : After 4 fulfilling days at the Buckingham Place you will proceed along the picturesque coastal road to the  Ivory Villa in Unawatuna.
This beautiful boutique villa is located 75 feet above sea level on the rocky cliffs of Unawatuna and Rumassala, with fabulous view of Indian Ocean and historic Galle Fort. The Villa has always a pleasant breeze, there is an outstanding view and the only noise comes from the sound of the waves and the songbirds.
The attractive Unawatuna beach is only few minutes walk away and ranks among the twenty best beaches in the world.  Attractions include sheltered waters for swimming, reasonable well preserved coral reef for snorkeling and fine possibilities for surfing and scuba diving.
Wander through the  streets of  historical Galle Fort in Galle with its art galleries, shops and cafes .Galle is only 2 km away from Unawatuna and can easily be reached by foot or by hiring one of the  local three wheeler.
Worth are also visits to the turtle hatchery where five out of the seven species of sea turtle come ashore to laid their eggs and a little bit further down the coast to the famous stilt fisherman in Ahangama. There are also  opportunities for a romantic boat ride on the Koggala Lake od Dodanduwa Lagoon.
Day 8 - 12 : Your  last destination will be the Nisala Arana Colonial Villa in Bentota. Set within 4.25 acres of landscaped gardens in the village of Kommala, Nisala Arana is  a  beautiful 150 years old, restored Dutch Villa. The property is dotted with fruit trees and offers truly romantic accommodation in a room decorated with antiques and an original colonial four poster bed. Enjoy the large dining / relaxing pavilion by the granite bordered fresh water swimming pool, the 'temple' for meditating and the badminton court to stay fit.
.Nisala Arana has also brand new Luxury Boat in Bentota and are offering Leisure Cruises, Snorkeling, Water Sports in the Lagoon and Deep Sea Fishing in the Ocean. There is also collection of Antique and Classic cars for  Village Tours and 4x4 Tours of the Rubber Plantations.
The close by Bawa Lunuganga is a  garden retreat and the lifelong project of Sri Lanka’s renowned architect Geoffrey Bawa. Amazing views, rolling gardens, statues paddy fields and wonderful architecture all can be enjoyed here.
A cruise along the beautiful Bentota lagoon in a dugout catamaran, kayak or motorboat is a must. This trip will take you far past any signs of village life and deep into scenes of natural jungle and wildlife.
A cool freshwater natural swimming hole and waterfall is about 60 min drive from Nisala Arana. Enjoy this trip in a Tuk Tuk (local 3 Wheeler) and pass through wonderful scenes of Paddy and Rubber Plantations along the way. The villa will arrange a packed lunch and refreshments.
On your last day you will be transfered back to the airport or your next destination in Sri Lanka (optional)
