The surf camp is based in Mirissa on the South Coast of Sri Lanka. Mirissa is small fishing village with great surfing conditions for beginners as well as for more advanced surfers.
The Mirissa surf camp is actually a nice, well-run guesthouse and the friendly team will be happy to help you with anything from equipment rental, lessons with a professional instructor or one day trips to other surf points along the coast.
The specialty about Mirissa is that its waves are hardly affected by onshore wind due to the point being located in between rocks and a hill. Mirissa also has a beach break ideal for beginners and boogy boarding and works best close to full moon days.
The Beginners Surf Camp includes:
One way Transfer to Mirissa
6x nights accommodation in guesthouse or cabana on b&b basis
Surf Board (if you did not bring your own)
Transportation between the surf spots twice a day (in high season there is a total of 7 surf spots around)
3x Surf Lesson with professional instructor (more lessons optional)
2x Theoretical Lesson (methodology of surfing, surf forecast...)
